Neuer eBook Reader von txtr
Auch in Deutschland ist man nicht untätig was Lesegeräte angeht: pünktlich zur Buchmesse im Oktober 2009 möchte das Berliner Startup-Unternehmen Txtr seinen txtr Reader vorstellen. Der Hersteller kündigt dabei eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Mobilfunkanbieter Ecotel an, man wird also das Eplus-Netz zum direkten Download von Büchern verwenden (ähnlich zu Amazon Kindle und Sony Daily Edition/AT&T – kommt Ende das Jahres auf den US-Markt). Der Anwender greift dabei auf die E-Book-Shops Ciando, Ingram Digital und Libri zu.
