Er liebt sie wirklich
Die Liebe ist ein schwer zu beschreibendes Medium, zu unterschiedlich gestalten sich doch die verschiedenen Formen von Liebe. Viele nehmen dieses Wort in den Mund und sprechen es aus. Manche tun dies einfach so, andere, weil sie wirklich denken, sie lieben. Das schwierige dabei ist aber, dass sich wahre Liebe erst in Extremsituationen zeigt, erst dann so wirklich deutlich wird. Nicht umsonst heißt es beim Eheversprechen auch „In guten wie in schlechten Tagen“, denn vor allem in den nicht ganz so schönen, in den schweren Zeiten, zeigt sich, wer wirklich liebt.
Michael Röhrdanz ist wirklich richtig verliebt, denn er weiß, was Liebe ist. Seit acht Jahren ist er nun mit Angela verheiratet und ist noch genauso glücklich verliebt wie am allerersten Tag. Auch Angela ist glücklich und soll schon bald das dritte gemeinsame Kind zur Welt bringen. Leider hat der Roman „Der Mann, der wirklich liebte“ für beide ein grausames Schicksal bereitgestellt. Angela ist todkrank, das Überleben weder von ihr noch vom Kind gesichert. Nach einem plötzlichen Gehirnschlag diagnostizieren die Ärzte bei ihr ein „Locked-In-Syndrom“, der baldige Tod scheint bereits festzustehen. Doch Michael mag es nicht wahrhaben und kämpft um seine Familie. Liebe kann Berge versetzen und das tut nun auch Michael, denn wie durch ein Wunder überleben sowohl seine Frau, als auch der Nachkömmling, was das Werk von Hera Lind zu einem wirklich romantischen Liebesroman macht.
