Die Frage heißt: Wer bin ich?
Jeden Tag erleben wir Menschen zig Situationen, in denen wir ins Grübeln geraten, welche Entscheidung wohl die besseren Folgen nach sich zieht. Sollte man die Pommes besser mit Mayo oder mit Ketchup essen, mit dem Bus oder der Bahn zur Arbeit fahren, mit Michael oder Olaf in der Mittagspause essen gehen? Natürlich weiß jeder von uns, ob er lieber Ketchup oder Mayo zu seinen Kartoffelstreifen haben möchte, aber was ist, wenn genau an diesem Tag ein Missgeschick passiert? Mayo ist nahezu weiß und lässt sich garantiert unauffälliger vom hellen Dress entfernen. Auch wenn die Bahn immer der schnellere Weg war, was passiert, wenn es heute zu einer Weichenfehlstellung kommt? Wie ist das nun mit den beiden Herren, beide haben ihre Vorteile, aber welchen wollen Sie denn nun wirklich kennenlernen?
Das Leben hält viele Gefahren für uns bereit, viele Situationen, in denen sich Dinge schwer entscheiden lassen. Beinahe tagtäglich erleben wir Dinge, mit denen wir nicht gerechnet haben und die uns vor unvorhersehbare Umstände stellen. Was liegt da ferner als sich selbst genau zu kennen, also wenigstens eine Komponente in der sich drehenden Welt als solche fest zu halten? Leider ist auch das immer schwer, weil viele gar nicht genau wissen, wo sie stehen oder was sie eigentlich wollen. Das Drumherum können wir kaum beeinflussen uns selbst aber schon, erkennt Diplom-Psychologin Lisa Krelhaus, die mit ihrem Werk „Wer bin ich – wer will ich sein?“ den grundlegenden Weg zur Selbstfindung ermöglicht. Hier erkennt jeder seine Stärken und seine Schwächen, kann herausfinden, worauf es einem im Leben wirklich ankommt und welche Berufung einem vielleicht vorausbestimmt ist.
