Herrlich amüsante Frauenliteratur! Dayna, Mitte 20, liegt in den Wehen. Und was tut sie, während die Schmerzen immer schlimmer werden? Sie denkt über ihre Männergeschichten nach, denn schliesslich wäre sie nicht in dieser Situation, hätte sie die Finger von den Männern gelassen. Und so beginnt die Erzählung mit ihrem ersten Freund Simon, der eine seltsame Vorliebe für Plüschbären hegt und dessen Libido der eines Hasen auf Viagra ähnelt. Eine Anekdote reiht sich an die nächste, denn Dayna hat so einige Männer ausprobiert. Und dabei frägt sie sich, wieviele Nieten man als Frau eigentlich ziehen muss, um endlich den Hauptgewinn zu ziehen? Oder ist der doch schon bei den vermeintlichen Nieten dabei gewesen? Denn wer der Vater ihres Kindes ist und wie der sich so bewährt, erfährt man erst auf den letzten Seiten von Nullnummern (OT: Rubbish Boyfriends).
Sehr unterhaltsam und mit viel Humor hat die Autorin Maria Beaumont diesen Roman geschrieben. Aber auch Männer (sollten sie sich trauen) können durchaus interessante Einblicke in das (Liebes-)Leben der Frauen erhalten, denn über was hier geschrieben wird besprechen Frauen normalerweise ja nur unter sich….
